In 1965 Victoria County Community Care provided the new seniors club a small room to meet in the Kiwanis Arena on Russell Street. It was called The Seniors Drop in Centre, “A Place for Friends”.
They soon reached 50 members and moved to the Victoria Park Armoury in 1967. In 1970 the city purchased the Armoury where a provincial grant for the seniors was awarded to run their club.
The Armoury has been home to the Lindsay Seniors Association to meet socially and participate in many activities and events for over 50 years.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
